The BBC News article ‘University opens without any teachers‘ describes plans of an university to open without any teachers:
‘The US college, a branch of an institution in France with the same name, will train about a thousand students a year in coding and software development…‘
How it will work?
Students will mentor each other – and even mark each other’s work.
This sounds really cool – and exciting (at least for everyone interested in peer learning).
Find out more about the course here.
And the best thing, the course is free!
I’m definitely looking out for an evaluation report on this to see what peer-to-peer learning can and can’t do.
